The Video shall be along soon. It takes a while to upload.
edit: done!
Anyway, the story goes that I recently lost my paper round job and am because of this 'strapped for cash' as the saying goes. So I thought, what better way of saving money/showing my appreciation for all dad had done, then compose a film about him! I spent almost an entire day with Granny Paula and Teddy, trawling through the pictures to find fairly decent ones. We found a photo album, that dad himself had composed at roughly my age and I must admit that it was a bizarre sensation to be touching and looking at photos last seen and added by my father (as a child) then we spoke- at length- as to what to call it. Granny, Teddy and me however couldn't come up with a decent title and so the role of name-calling fell to auntie chris, over the phone, in seconds she came up with the perfect title: 'bye bye byiee' (after dads beloved childhood teddy bear)
So when she came up to stay at granny's house, she worked with me to make interviews with of gran, ted, oliver, me and herself. Thank you an awful lot!
As far as the actual making of the film, time-wise, it was rather short in the making, 5 minutes of scanning and about 1-2 hours of music/photo re-touching(there were an awful lot of aged photos!) The ken burns effect (scroll on picture) took up the most amount of time, but I finished it all in one day... today.
